#PremiseCares: RN helps community through COVID-19 crisis

As COVID-19 has spread across the country, individuals and businesses have had to adapt to a new normal. Andrea “Andie” Maiolano, who works as a Registered Nurse in one of Premise Health’s employer health clinics in Manhattan, has spent her hours off-duty working to help her community through this crisis.

In addition to her work at Premise, Andie runs her own business creating and selling custom-made heirlooms and gifts. When the outbreak began, Andie shifted her business and utilized her needlework skills to sew face masks for those working on the front lines. Andie says her goal “is to make as many masks as she can as her way of helping in any way she can.” Due to the large number of requests, Andie has recruited her mom and friends to help meet the demand.
