In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, many employers have had to make the difficult but necessary decision to furlough or layoff employees. After debating the best way to help, one of our Premise Health pharmacy teams stepped up to collect food and other necessities for members that had lost their jobs and were experiencing financial hardships. Working with local non-profits, the team collected and provided pizzas, diapers, wipes, baby formula, and baskets of food and necessities to more than 100 members.
Reflecting on the event, one team member said, “during these tumultuous and uncertain times, we are reminded that the potential to serve our patients goes beyond pharmacy.” Thank you to the entire Premise Health team! Your compassion and commitment to high quality care is admirable and appreciated.
