Due to the decreased number of in-person visits during COVID-19, some Premise providers have had extra time to spend with their members. Whether coordinating referrals with specialists or finding COVID-19 testing sites for members, providers have continued to offer members high-quality, personalized care, even in a virtual capacity.
When a member presented with symptoms that had persisted for several years, our provider was able to spend 90 minutes addressing their concerns. After years of going undiagnosed, our provider was able to perform tests and diagnose the member in their first visit. The member was immediately referred to an endocrinologist and was able to get the care they needed.
