Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Premise Health pharmacy manager, Taylor Reed, has focused on finding opportunities to interact with members. Taylor has been working at the drive-up window and using medication pickups to familiarize himself with members and learn more about their health stories. One member shared that he finally had enough time to reflect on his health habits and was looking for ways to improve his high blood pressure and pre-diabetes symptoms. Taylor discussed the members lifestyle habits and provided him with personalized eating and exercise recommendations.
Additionally, Taylor worked with the members’ primary care physician to set him up with a blood glucose meter so that he could monitor his sugar levels from home. Taylor and the member now have regular weekly phone calls to assess his progress. Thank you, Taylor, for helping our members focus on preventive medicine in order to achieve better long-term health outcomes!
