The Greater Nashville Technology Council has recognized Premise CIO Haden McWhorter and the Premise Emagine team in its 10th Annual Awards.

Haden McWhorter was named CIO of the Year for his contributions to the technology industry and Premise Health, where he leads IT strategy and oversees the technology supporting the company’s 600+ wellness centers across the country. This recognition marks the second time Haden has been honored for his outstanding contributions to the technology community in Nashville. In 2015, he was named CTO of the Year.

“It is an honor to be recognized by the Greater Nashville Technology Council,” Haden said. “This respected organization has made gigantic strides by uniting the technology community around a shared vision for the future – I’m thrilled to be part of the movement that is underway, as we continue to grow and attract great companies and talent to our city.”

The Premise Emagine Team, comprised of 75 team members from across 11 departments and led by Beth Ratliff, senior vice president, was honored as one of three finalists for Team of the Year. It competed with 15 companies to earn recognition as a finalist, which acknowledges its leadership in Premise’s recently completed transition to electronic health record Epic. The project was the largest geographic roll-out of Epic to date, migrating 347 sites and 208 clients to the platform. It has already earned certified status for information security from HITRUST, which validates it meets key regulations and protects sensitive information.

“As the Emagine Team embarked upon a daunting project, the likes of which has stumped many organizations, it committed to a radically collaborative and cross-functional approach, which quickly earned the respect of our organization and client base,” said Stu Clark, CEO, Premise Health. “We are incredibly proud of Haden, Beth, and the Emagine and technology teams for their work to ensure that we fully leverage technology to enhance the quality, experience and value we deliver to clients and members.”
