Stu Clark has served as Chief Executive Officer of Premise Health since its inception in 2014. His career in the employer-sponsored health center industry began in 1991, when he joined a start-up formerly known as American Occupational Health Management, Inc. (AOHM).
Stu served in various executive roles at AOHM until 1996, when the company was sold to a Warburg Pincus portfolio company, Meridian Occupational Healthcare Associates of Nashville, Tenn. As a member of executive management, Stu held operations and development roles over the next nine years, ultimately serving as Executive Vice President overseeing the company's four onsite operating divisions, which included primary care, occupational health, and pharmacy programs for some of the nation's largest employers.
In 2006, Stu joined Comprehensive Health Services, Inc., of Reston, Va. Stu’s mission at CHS was to build its employer-sponsored health center business, with a focus on primary care and medical home models. Stu served as CEO of CHS Health Services, as that division was renamed, while it grew by 500% between 2007 and 2014. In mid-2014, CHS Health Services merged with the employer-sponsored health center division of Walgreens to form Premise Health – with Water Street serving as the lead investor.
Today Premise Health operates more than 600 health centers in 44 states, Guam and Puerto Rico. Stu is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he received a BA in 1991.
Trent Riley is the Chief Operating Officer of Premise Health, where he leads many functions and activities designed to drive strategic onsite initiatives, create operational efficiencies, and deliver high quality care. He is also focused on creating an inspiring culture that leads to exceptional member and client engagement.
Before beginning his career in 1992 with a legacy Premise Health company as an onsite nursing professional, Trent served in the First Infantry Division with the United States Army during the Desert Storm campaign. He received the Combat Medical Badge and worked his way through the ranks utilizing his hands-on clinical and operational expertise to serve as a Nurse Manager, Director of Site Operations, and Assistant Vice President. Later, he assumed positions as Regional Vice President and Vice President of Operations for Take Care Health Systems. He ultimately became the Divisional Vice President under Walgreens and ran the Take Care business unit.
Trent is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, a registered nurse, and holds multiple clinical and professional certifications.
Shannon Farrington serves as Chief Financial Officer at Premise Health, where she provides corporate and healthcare finance leadership while overseeing growth efforts correlated to the organization’s strategic roadmap.
Shannon previously served as founder and CEO of W Squared as well as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CHD Meridian Healthcare. Additionally, she has held roles as the Director of Finance for Coventry Health Care, Assistant Vice President & Corporate Controller for Allied Clinical Laboratories, and Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young in audit services. She has more than 20 years of experience in onsite health services, working with companies upon creation and during recapitalizations to determine appropriate legal, capital, and debt structures to maximize shareholder value, both on the buying and selling side of mergers and acquisitions.
Shannon was named 2016 CFO of the Year by the Nashville Business Journal. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Arkansas.
Jami Doucette, MD, MBA, CSCS
Jami Doucette serves as President at Premise Health. In his role, Jami focuses on growth, product, innovation, strategy, business development, corporate development, and business intelligence.
Prior to joining Premise Health in early 2017, Jami served as Leader for Paladina Health (a DaVita subsidiary) where he was a core member of the executive team responsible for long-term strategy and growth. Prior to Paladina, Doucette was CEO and founder of ModernMed, a health services company providing direct primary care through employer-based, onsite and nearsite health centers as well as 24/7 virtual access to members’ personal physicians. ModernMed was acquired by DaVita in 2012. He began his career in investment banking and angel investing, primarily focused on the healthcare and technology sectors.
Jami earned his MD and MBA in Health Management from Tufts University School of Medicine in a combined degree program. He also earned undergraduate degrees in Biology and Economics with honors from Duke University and is an active member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
In his role as Chief Information Officer for Premise Health, Haden McWhorter leads the organization’s IT strategy and the technology required to support its vision, mission, and goals.
Prior to joining Premise Health, Haden held various IT leadership roles at Healthways, including Chief Security Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Vice President of Technology. He joined W Squared in May 2012 as Chief Information Officer, transitioned to Premise Health as Chief Technology Officer in June 2015, and assumed the role of Chief Information Officer in 2016. Haden brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare and technology, including data management and design, software development, and healthcare IT consulting.
Haden is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and a Tennessee HIMSS board member; a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives; and a member of the Nashville Healthcare Council. He has served as the Race Chair for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Middle Tennessee since 2008 and is also a board member for Susan G. Komen of Middle Tennessee. Haden holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Auburn University.
Elizabeth Reimer serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer where she leads Premise Health’s human resources strategy and is responsible for executing best-in-class initiatives in the following areas: Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development, HR Technology, Data Analytics, Employee Relations, Human Resource Business Partners, and Total Rewards which includes Compensation, Benefits and Well-Being strategies.
Prior to joining Premise Health, Liz served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Cigna HealthSpring where she was an integral part of the senior leadership team. She helped grow that company from 150 to 4,500 employees, ultimately taking the organization public in 2006 before merging with the Cigna Corporation. Liz brings more than 18 years of expertise in progressive human resources practices within the healthcare industry, specializing in strategy development and execution, change management, organizational design and development, culture, as well as leading transitional acquisition and integration activities.
Liz received her Bachelor of Science in Communications and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Brockport.
Joey Johnson is Chief Information Security Officer at Premise Health, responsible for leading all organizational efforts related to security operations and engineering; penetration testing; information technology and security compliance; identity access management; policy development; security audit; third party risk management, software development security, and physical security to meet challenging security and compliance demands.
Prior to joining Premise Health, Joey was the Chief Security Officer for the United States Department of Commerce, Office of Computer Services. He has over 18 years of experience in the cyber-security industry, including leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on organizations in the federal government, information technology, healthcare, and transportation industries.
Joey maintains an active leadership presence in the healthcare cyber-security industry, participating as an advisor for UCLA Global Cyber Institute, and an editorial board member for the Journal of Law and Cyberwarfare. Additionally, Joey serves on the steering committee for the National Healthcare Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NH-ISAC) and as a product and investment advisor to emergent cyber security technology organizations.
A team member since 2014, Will Wright is responsible for the management and direction of the legal department, including operational guidance, corporate governance, litigation, and mergers and acquisitions.
With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Will previously served as Chief Legal Officer and Director for The Little Clinic, where he was responsible for a wide range of legal, operational, and compliance functions. In addition to in-house roles, he was in private practice, representing healthcare providers and institutions in regulatory, governmental affairs, and transactional matters.
Will received his Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law, his Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University, and his Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College. A native of Middle Tennessee, he also served as Chair and Board member of Alive Hospice, the largest non-profit hospice provider in the area.
Peter Vasquez, MD
As Executive Vice President of Medical Operations for Premise Health, Dr. Peter Vasquez develops the medical strategy for the organization. His role includes oversight of all clinical activities and the development of workflows, policies, and processes to support practice models and service lines – both within Premise Health and for its integration with local medical communities.
During his nearly 30 years in clinical practice, Dr. Vasquez engaged in private family practice and family medicine and public health for Native American communities. In addition, he has performed occupational health services and consultation for corporate human resources, safety, and occupational health professionals, including the North American division of BASF Corporation, USAA, United Parcel Service, the United States Postal Service, Becton-Dickenson, Procter & Gamble, the Ross Division of Abbott Pharmaceuticals, and Owens Corning.
Outside of Premise Health, Dr. Vasquez currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Western Occupational and Environmental Medical Association. He is a member the Southern California Education and Research Council Continuing Medical Education Advisory Committee and the Primary Care Task Force of the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Healthcare Centers.
He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed residency training and board certification in the specialty of family medicine. He went on to complete post-graduate training and attain board certification in the field of occupational and environmental medicine.
Ed McNamara serves as Executive Vice President, Business Development Strategy and currently oversees all growth, strategy, and corporate marketing initiatives.
With more than 19 years as a sales and marketing executive, Ed is responsible for working across multiple business areas including operations, clinical, information technology, and finance to develop growth initiatives and brand strategies that fit within the needs and future of our industry.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University.
Beth Ratliff serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Premise Health. Beth oversees enterprise integration of business processes, technology and clinical service delivery to drive enhanced experience, effectiveness and efficiency. Former roles at Premise Health include SVP, Product Strategy, and Integration Management Office Executive.
Beth previously served as President of CHS Health Services, leading the organization through rapid organic growth and organizational restructuring and expansion. Beth’s expertise includes lean healthcare, clinical application delivery, product management and clinical quality. Her 20+ year history in the healthcare field includes 14 years of experience with multi-site operations, including the onsite delivery of primary care, occupational health, pharmacy, and rehabilitation services to some of the country’s largest employers.
Beth is a Nashville Health Care Council Fellow and a member of the Fellows Alumni Advisory Board. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Therapy from University of Louisville and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Heidi Schwab serves as Senior Vice President of Operations and is responsible for leading the operations team, directing all strategic business operations to align regions and supporting clinical excellence across the country.
Heidi’s extensive operations experience includes roles as a health center manager, director of site operations, senior director, and regional vice president for Take Care Health Solutions. She has more than 25 years of management and leadership experience in healthcare operations, with specific expertise in strategic healthcare operations, client management, organizational growth, and vendor integrations.
Heidi earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Policy and Administration from Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Health Administration degree from George Washington University.
