Premise Health Recognized as a 2024 VETS Indexes 4 Star Employer

Premise Health has earned the designation VETS Indexes 4 Star Employer as part of the 2024 VETS Indexes Employer Awards after previously being named to the organization’s 3 Star Employer list in 2022. The award recognizes Premise’s commitment to recruiting, hiring, retaining, developing, and supporting veterans and the military-connected community.

“We’re honored to receive this recognition by VETS Indexes,” says Matt Watkins, military program manager at Premise. “Premise is committed to providing veterans and military spouses meaningful career opportunities and resources that will ensure their success. We recognize the value they bring to our team and are dedicated to supporting them from one mission to the next!”

This year, Premise joins a select group of 285 organizations to receive distinction from VETS Indexes, a national leader in veteran employer evaluation. Recognizing its responsibility to support veterans in the workplace, Premise provides dedicated resources for military veterans and spouses, including a military affairs program which provides opportunities such as an ombudsman program, flexible work options, team member resource groups, mentorship programs, and extensive internal support from top-level executives to frontline leaders.

In addition, Premise partners with other organizations across the nation in its ongoing effort to support the career advancement of all veterans and their families, including Hiring Our Heroes, Military Spouse Employment Partners, the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center at MTSU, and INvets (Indiana).

“The extraordinary efforts of Premise Health to hire, retain and support veterans and the military-connected community have earned the organization one of our highest awards,” said George Altman, president of VETS Indexes.

VETS Indexes is an independent provider of comprehensive evaluation for employer policies, practices, and outcomes regarding veteran recruitment, hiring, development, retention, inclusivity, and family support.
