Premise Health Receives Second Consecutive 5 Star Employer Award from VETS Indexes

Premise Health was recognized as a 5 Star Employer by VETS Indexes for the second consecutive year. Recipients were announced at the VETS Indexes Employer Awards during this year’s Employing U.S. Vets Conference

The VETS Indexes Employer Awards program recognizes organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to the recruitment, hiring, retention, development, and support of veterans and the military-connected community. VETS Indexes recognized participating organizations across the following award levels: 5 Star Employer, 4 Star Employer, 3 Star Employer, and Recognized Employer. Participating organizations included large and small companies, government agencies and departments, nonprofit groups, colleges, and universities.

“It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized for a second time as a 5 Star Employer by VETS Indexes,” said Premise Military Program Manager Matt Watkins. “I’m proud to be part of an organization that intentionally integrates veteran and military spouse talent into the fabric of our workforce. Our teams recognize the experience, leadership, and operational mindset this community brings, and we create an environment where they can perform, lead, and drive meaningful impact across the organization.”

Since 2016, Premise has continued to evolve its military program for veterans, military spouses, National Guard and Reservists. As a result of its mission driven approach, the organization has consistently improved its VETS Indexes designation since first receiving the award in 2022.

Premise and its military program provide dedicated resources for military-connected team members and applicants, including an ombudsman program, flexible work options, team member resource groups, mentorship programs, and extensive internal support from top-level executives to frontline leaders.

As the most objective and comprehensive evaluation of veteran employers, the VETS Indexes Employer Awards program uses an in-depth survey and methodology to analyze the policies, practices, and outcomes of organizations across the following 5 categories:

  • Veteran job candidate recruiting and hiring
  • Veteran employee development and retention
  • Veteran-inclusive policies and culture
  • Support for members of the National Guard and Reserves
  • Military spouse/family support
