Premise Health Launches New Initiative to Enhance Care Delivery Model

Worksite health and wellness leader partners with the nation’s leading integrated electronic medical record provider as it accelerates growth and technology initiatives.

As Premise Health continues to expand its delivery model, the company announced today that it has partnered with the nation’s leading integrated electronic medical record provider, Epic. The partnership will enable Premise Health to leverage technology that will enhance the patient experience and broaden interoperability of patient data throughout the care continuum. Premise Health is spearheading a two-year plan to implement Epic across its worksite health centers.

This enterprise-wide initiative, called Emagine, is a key component of Premise Health’s strategic plan to integrate technology, high-quality clinical practice and an enhanced patient-provider experience. Improving the health and wellness of employee populations is a primary focus for Premise Health and Epic.  This partnership will accelerate Premise Health’s ability to further demonstrate value, change behavior and integrate care.

“Premise is improving accessibility to care for employers and their member populations through a number of new strategies. These strategies include adding physical and virtual access points that extend the impact of the client-sponsored health center.  Epic was the clear partner as we execute on a number of initiatives: population health, virtual care, community integration, and improving provider and patient experience,” said Trent Riley, chief operating officer, Premise Health.

By leveraging Epic’s platform and capabilities, this partnership will enable Premise Health to execute on an advanced care delivery model that harnesses accessible data, further extending its reach into communities and effectively serving as a central point within a value-based and aligned incentive environment.

“The ability to share information and integrate with population health tools will help to drive change in the health and wellbeing of the patients we serve. As the market leader, we are always looking for ways to evolve and improve our business. This evolution represents our continued commitment and investment to connect our world-class client base with best-in-class health care solutions,” said Jami Doucette, leader of growth, strategy and product, Premise Health.

Currently in the planning and design phases of this project, existing technology platforms will continue to be fully supported without interruption for all Premise Health clients.
