A Note from CEO Stu Clark – Veterans in the Workplace
This year, in honor of Veterans Day, CEO Stu Clark published an article on LinkedIn reflecting on why companies should focus on veteran recruitment and how they can get started.
“Regardless of sector and services offered, every employer is in the talent business,” he writes. “Veterans and military spouses are a premium resource for talent, which is why it’s worth it for employers – especially those in healthcare – to invest in building a program to resource these talent acquisition efforts properly.”
Premise Health currently employs 230 veterans and partners with organizations such as the Military Spouse Employment Partnership and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families with a goal of maintaining an annual 7% hiring rate of military-affiliated individuals.
