Premise Health Sites Prepared to Distribute COVID-19 Vaccines

The first COVID-19 vaccines are being distributed across the country to healthcare providers and long-term care residents, a population that includes many citizens of Williamson County, Tennessee.

The county is home to several large healthcare organizations as well as one of the largest senior living companies in the United States, which are all taking on the task of coordinating the vaccine distribution for their employees and residents.

One Williamson County employer, direct healthcare company Premise Health, provides healthcare services for more than 11 million members across an array of industries. The organization is ready to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine to its members, especially those working in critical industries who could be vaccinated next.

Premise president Jami Doucette said that although many details remain unclear, the company will be able to draw from its expertise in facilitating yearly flu vaccine campaigns to successfully vaccinate millions of members over the next year.
