Premise CISO awarded Top Global CISO Award for 2023 by Cyber Defense Magazine

Premise Health Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Joey Johnson has been named a Top Global CISO for 2023 by Cyber Defense Magazine.

This designation recognizes leaders who have demonstrated tremendous commitment to the organizations that they serve by managing and mitigating major risks to data security and regulatory compliance issues. Candidates were considered under this year’s criteria, including innovation, effectiveness in communicating with company leadership, ability to detect and stop breaches and data loss, regulatory compliance, and efficiency in building powerful risk reduction programs for their organizations.

“We’re pleased to name Joey Johnson as a winner among a small, elite group of information security professionals for our Top Global CISOs Awards for 2023, celebrating with them at CyberDefenseCon 2023,” said Gary Miliefsky, publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine.

At Premise, Johnson oversees all organizational efforts related to security operations and engineering, security monitoring and incident response, information technology and security compliance, identity access management, policy development, security audit, third party risk management, and physical security to meet challenging security and compliance demands.

Under his leadership, Premise has held Certified HITRUST status since 2017, which confirms our commitment to meeting key healthcare regulations and protecting sensitive private healthcare information. This placed Premise Health in an elite group of certified organizations as one of the few dedicated direct healthcare companies to achieve this status.

This is Cyber Defense Magazine’s 11th year of honoring cybersecurity innovators during its Cyber Defense Awards platform. Visit the Cyber Defense Awards website for the full list of winners.
