Premise Health Receives 2018 CSO50 Award from IDG’s CSO
Premise Health has been named an honoree of International Data Group’s CSO50 Award for 2018. This prestigious honor is bestowed upon a select group of highly qualified organizations that have demonstrated that their security initiatives have created outstanding business value and thought leadership for their companies.
Joey Johnson, Chief Information Security Officer at Premise Health, will accept this award at the CSO50 Conference + Awards held on Feb. 26-28, 2018, at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch, Scottsdale, Ariz.
“I am extremely honored to accept this award on behalf of Premise Health and our best-in-class security team,” said Johnson. “Operating in the worksite health and patient engagement space, we face a unique set of challenges in order to meet client security standards, ever-changing healthcare regulations and a diverse set of care delivery networks. This award symbolizes the collective effort and dedication of our entire department to information security, and I’m grateful for the visionary leadership within our organization who understands that proper management of patient information and data is crucial to long-term success.”
Based in Brentwood, Tenn., Premise Health manages more than 600 health and wellness centers across the country. It serves more than 250 of the nation’s leading employers, including a significant number of Fortune 1000 companies.
“Amid the seemingly constant stream of news-making security breaches, vulnerabilities introduced by new technologies and increased attention from company boards, today’s security leaders have their plates more than full,” said Amy Bennett, executive editor of CSO. “They and their teams are charged not only with protecting their organization’s critical systems and sensitive data, but with driving business results. Our annual CSO50 awards shine a light on projects that enhance an organization’s security posture and also deliver measurable ROI. We are pleased to give them the recognition they deserve.”
