Premise Health Named Military Friendly® Employer Second Year in a Row

For the second consecutive year, Premise Health was named a Military Friendly® Employer by VIQTORY, and this year it received a Top 10 designation in the $500M-$1B Company category for its work to attract and engage veteran talent.

Military Friendly is the military ratings division of VIQTORY, a service-disabled, veteran-owned business. The designation is the standard that measures an organization’s commitment, effort, and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefit for the military community. Companies are evaluated on how well their military recruiting program performs in three primary areas:

  1. Engages the prospective military employee in a recruiting environment.
  2. Educates the military employee once he or she is part of the company.
  3. Employs the military employee in meaningful employment.

“We firmly believe veterans are uniquely prepared to excel in our organization because of their experience and skills gained through their service. They are well trained, they take pride in their work, and they understand the importance of team,” said Premise CEO Stu Clark. “We’re proud to honor these men and women, and we need them on our team.”

Today, Premise Health employs more than 200 veterans, Guard and Reserve members with a goal of 6.4 percent of total hires in 2018 to be members of the military. Premise offers a dedicated Military Veteran Team Member Resource Group that provides military veterans with a group of like-minded individuals ready to assist new team members with mentoring, leadership development, new member recruitment, and onboarding. In addition, the company has a Military and Diversity Program Manager who offers personal assistance on the transition to life at Premise Health and provides guidance to its Talent Acquisition team on attracting and recruiting veterans.

Methodology
Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet thresholds for Applicant, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover, and Promotion & Advancement of veterans and military employees.
