Premise in the News: A New Benefit for Granite Teachers
This spring, teachers in Utah’s Granite school district will gain access to a new benefit from Premise: The Granite Wellness Center.
Offered at no cost to all contract employees and their dependents, this 6,000-square-foot center will provide comprehensive medical services and offer a formulary of pre-pack medications to help treat conditions that are diagnosed at the center. It is the first of its kind for a Utah school district.
A recent article from Deseret News highlighted this Premise wellness center, focusing on how the Granite district, which is self-funded, works to retain experienced teachers and recruit new ones through a competitive salary and benefits package.
This new Premise wellness center will offer physical and mental health services.
