Premise Health Expands AAAHC Partnership with Network Accreditation
SKOKIE, Ill. – July 21, 2016 – Premise Health, a leading worksite health and patient engagement company, has received accreditation through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) for its health centers, including 54 designated Patient Centered Medical Homes, officials announced today. The AAAHC Network Accreditation Program measures an organization’s strategy against stringent, national quality standards across all of its sites of care to determine eligibility for accreditation.
“Premise Health embarked on this rigorous accreditation process to validate the high level of safety and quality care standards to which we hold ourselves accountable,” said Bryan Hammond, RRT, CPHRM, director of quality, accreditation and risk at Premise Health. “Our clients benefit from knowing that they not only made the right choice selecting Premise Health as their onsite provider, but that our methods are proven, effective, and confirmed by the healthcare community.”
Based in Brentwood, Tenn., Premise Health manages more than 500 worksite-based health and wellness centers across the country, serving more than 200 of the nation’s leading employers, including a significant number of Fortune 1000 companies.
“AAAHC provided us an invaluable framework for evaluating our processes and confirming that we are doing the right thing, the right way, every time,” added Peter Vasquez, MD, senior vice president, medical operations, for Premise Health. “The survey process offered validation and reinforcement of our mission to help people get, stay and be well.”
AAAHC Network Accreditation is granted to the corporate organization and each individual site of care included in the network. Each site receives a certificate identifying it as being operated by a AAAHC-accredited entity.
“Providing our services to the prestigious Premise Health organization is a testament to the consultative, peer-based approach we offer,” said Dorota Rakowiecki, AAAHC director of ambulatory accreditation operations. “Our Network Accreditation Program serves a growing number of multi-site organizations that deliver employer-based health care.”
